Grant Description

The Technical Training Acceleration Grant is short-term pilot to accelerate delivery of locally identified training priorities. Eligible activities include Curriculum development, classroom training delivery, facility rental, training materials, and travel reimbursement for trainers. Contracting with an outside vendor to provide training is allowable. Most eligible activities under this grant will fall under the Administration/Coordination or Education/Information activity categories within eLINK.
 

Reporting Overview

A workplan must be developed in eLINK using the activities proposed in the application, though BWSR may require additional details at this stage. Use the Rates & Hours tool within eLINK to calculate FTEs funded by the grant. The workplan will lock upon submittal to BWSR for approval, preventing edits to the approved budget but allowing you to enter expenses and reporting details as work is completed. The workplan must be approved and the grant agreement executed before work can begin under this grant. When reporting expenditures clearly indicate whether funds are going to SWCD, TSA or a private consultant for training delivery.

Technical Training Acceleration grants are subject to the requirements outlined in the grant agreement and the policies within BWSR’s Grants Administration Manual.  As Clean Water Fund dollars are part of funding, the grant agreement stipulates that the grantee must “comply with
requirements for project signage.” For practical purposes, this means the logo should be used on any materials developed using the grant funds
